On 30th January the Year 4s went to the Corn Exchange to see Orchestra Unwrapped and to listen to the London Philharmonia Orchestra play. We heard different instruments such as: piano, violin, trumpet, drum, flute, bassoon and trombone. There were 9 other schools watching too. We also sang a song that we had learned while the live musicians played and it was lots of fun. I really enjoyed it. By Jessica

Anne Frank Exhibition
Year 5 went to the Higgins museum at Bedford’s Castle Lane on 26/1/18 (3 days before the grand opening of the Anne frank room to the public). The Anne Frank Trust had come to the Higgins museum too. The trip was about Anne Frank who died during World War II after hiding with her family to escape the Germans. During this time she wrote a diary of life at this terrible time and her dad took some fantastic photos also. Firstly we had lunch in an empty room and next we went to the workshop. After that we went to the Anne Frank room where there were old things (mostly!). Finally we went back to school. Go to the Higgins museum today and learn something new! By Sean
