Reception trip to Whipsnade

Reception class went to the zoo yesterday (Wednesday 22nd June). They travelled by coach and left school about 9.30am. They saw lots of animals such as zebras, tigers, elephants, crocodiles, giraffes, monkeys, hippos, lions, bears, and wolves. Reception class came back to school by coach and got back to school about 4pm. They had lots of fun and would love to go again.

Year One Royal Assembly

Year 1 performed their assembly last Friday, and it was a huge success. They even made some great costumes. They told everybody lots of different facts about the Queen. For example, when she was born, how many corgis she has had and when she became Queen. Year 1 also sang the national anthem which is called ‘God Save the Queen.’ They had really great singing voices.
