World Book Day

Priory Lower School celebrated World Book Day. We were learning about different cultures. In year 4 some children bought in food, toys and clothes from their culture. Some of the girls wore a salwar kameez which is a beautiful dress with lots of diamonds and is traditionally made out of silk.

In year 4 we made a book about a superhero called Lingo Girl who can speak all the languages in the whole wide world. Year 4 have designed a costume for Lingo Girl which has a jet pack and goggles.  By Raadia and Sondos

AII week Year 3 have been learning about hurricanes. Hurricanes are huge storms. When they are really big, they can take roofs off of houses. They are very strong. Hurricanes always start on seas and oceans warmer than 80 degrees Fahrenheit. The eye of the hurricane is the calmest part and is in the middle of it. They have categories of 1 to 5. 1 is the minimal and 5 is catastrophic. By Yasmin
