The Mayor’s Visit
On Tuesday the school council went to the Mayor’s parlour. We walked there and we walked back. It was lovely weather. We dressed up as the judges and the Mayor. We had squash, cookies and chocolate digestives. We looked at the big chains that the Mayor wore. We looked at all the pictures in his parlour. We had our photos taken. We made him a card to say thank you for inviting us. We asked him a couple of questions which were: Does he eat fruit and vegetables, what was his favourite T.V programme, What his favourite food was, what was good and bad about being the Mayor and would he like to come to priory lower school?

Yesterday year 3 and 4 went to Woburn Safari Park. We saw monkeys, elephant’s, turtle’s, zebra’s, lions, tigers, ostrich’s kangaroos, bears, deer, buffalos, giraffe, penguins and sea lions. We had a picnic and we went to the gift shop and spent our money. We also went on a bob cat sleigh which is a big slide and you go down it in a mat. It is really fast. We then went in the play arc and got to play on all of the equipment.
